Who this policy covers

This policy concerns Sunclue’s marketing website and project enquiries. It does not cover personal data processed inside a client’s software; that work needs a separate agreement describing our responsibilities.

The intended operating entity is Sunclue LTD in the United Kingdom. Registration is still being processed. The registered business details, address and direct privacy contact will be confirmed in the final version.

When you browse

You can read this site and use our free tools without creating an account. We use PostHog Cloud only to produce aggregate statistics that help us understand which pages bring useful visits, where visitors stop in a tool, whether results are completed, which broad result patterns appear and whether visitors choose to request a report or book a call. It records page views, page exits, referral and campaign information, basic browser and device information, interaction names, tool stages, changed field names, summary result percentages, broad value ranges, largest loss categories and clicks on links to our booking page. We do not send exact calculator inputs, financial amounts, assessment answers, form contents, email addresses or other enquiry details to PostHog, and we do not use analytics to identify people, build profiles, target advertising or make decisions about individual visitors.

PostHog is configured in cookieless mode, without analytics cookies or analytics storage in your browser, and without person profiles, session recordings, heatmaps or advertising tracking. It uses a short-lived privacy-preserving identifier to group events into visits. Analytics data is processed in PostHog's United States cloud. Read PostHog's privacy notice.

You can object to analytics at any time using the control below. When analytics is off, the PostHog script is not loaded on later pages. We store one first-party preference in your browser's local storage only to remember that choice. Turning analytics back on removes that preference.

Analytics: on

The hosting service may receive technical request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested page and request time, to deliver and protect the website. The production hosting provider, log settings and retention period must be confirmed before launch.

Fonts and booking a call

Fonts are hosted on this website and delivered by the same hosting service as its pages.

Our booking buttons take you to a Calendly page under the Petaniweb account. Calendly is linked, not embedded. If you book, the meeting organiser receives the information you submit, such as your name, email address, meeting time and any project details you choose to share. Read Calendly’s privacy notice before submitting information there.

If you ask for an assessment scorecard by email, the website sends your email address, result category and three numeric scores to Resend so it can deliver that message. Your individual assessment answers are not submitted. If you request a production loss report, the website sends your email address, chosen currency, calculator inputs and resulting estimates to Resend so those figures can appear in your report. We add your address to a marketing contact list only when you select the separate optional consent box. Marketing messages must include a way to unsubscribe. Read Resend’s privacy notice.

How enquiry information is used

Our proposed policy is to use enquiry information to respond, arrange a conversation and discuss a possible engagement. Information should be accessible only to people and service providers who need it for those purposes, or where disclosure is required by law. A project enquiry or scorecard request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing; that requires separate consent.

Please share only what is needed for the initial conversation. Credentials, confidential client records and sensitive personal information belong in a separately agreed secure channel.

Retention and international processing

The final policy will specify how long analytics events, scorecard delivery records, marketing preferences, enquiries and booking records are retained, who supplies hosting and communication services, and where those services process information. It will also explain any applicable international-transfer safeguards and the legal grounds for each use of personal data. Those details are not yet confirmed.

Your choices and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to its use, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.
